Himmelstein represents a number of medium sized businesses in Arizona. As the former Chairman of the Board of the Arizona Small Business Association, Himmelstein is passionate about helping Arizona’s business community thrive. Generally, he represents clients in business litigation – including civil matters involving contract disputes and intentional torts – and in the formation and governance of limited liability companies and corporations.
For over a decade, Professor Himmelstein has successfully helped his clients navigate a wide range of disputes involving: Business divorces and dissolutions; Fiduciary breaches; Business torts; Sales contracts; Buy-sell agreements; Non-compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements; as well as a variety of other commercial disputes.
He has received numerous awards over the course of his career, including the AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale‑Hubbell. He has been named one of the Southwest's Rising Stars by Super Lawyers for the last seven years in a row, is listed as one of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, and is a Lead Counsel Rated Attorney. Recently, the Expert Network recognized him as one of the top lawyers in the industry in 2015.
Versed in both business law and general litigation, Professor Himmelstein utilizes "psychological warfare" to obtain sound results for his clients. He is also a faculty associate at ASU.
