My law practice involves predominantly business law, commercial and civil litigation, including mediations and arbitration, trial work, discovery, development of strategy, liability assessment, negotiation, and pre-litigation planning to avoid or minimize litigation exposure from a defense perspective or maximize result from a plaintiff's perspective. Specific practice areas include general business law, negotiation and drafting of contracts, commercial and civil litigation, torts (business and personal), wrongful death, trade mark infringement litigation and protection, unfair competition, contracts, professional responsibility (ethics), professional liability/malpractice, insurance bad faith, lender liability, healthcare law, employment and discipline, probate/trust litigation, and criminal defense.
I am admitted to practice in state and federal courts of Arizona and Colorado (currently inactive status in Colorado); the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Tax Court, United States Supreme Court.
I have taught professionalism for the state bar and moderated a number of continuing legal education seminars concerning judicial perspectives on various aspects of civil law practice in Arizona.
