I am in ASU's Anthropology PhD program, where my focus is on Southwestern Archaeology.
My research takes place in the American Southwest. I am particularly interested in the issues of prehistoric identity, migration, cultural continuity, and religion. Much of my research involves iconographic analysis to address these issues. Currently, I am focused on the Mimbres region, ca. A.D. 750-1450. I am a staff archaeologist with the Mogollon Prehistoric Landscapes Project and a Teaching Assistant with ASU's Southwest Archaeological Field School in New Mexico. I am also the Field Director for the Perry Tank Canyon Project, an ASU/BLM project on the Agua Fria National Monument.
