Biography: 

Lorena Quinones is a Coordinator for the Center for Advanced Studies in Global Education at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. She facilitates ongoing projects by providing logistical support for faculty, staff, and international visiting scholars for the Center’s global initiatives.  Current initiatives include the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers, the Building Leadership for Change through School Immersion Program (Saudi Arabia) and the YouLead–Youth Employment & Business Start Up Program (Sri Lanka).  She is also the Editorial Assistant for the Equity Alliance Blog and the Disability, Culture, and Equity book series, edited by Dr. Artiles.  Lorena is a graduate student in the Master of Counseling (MC) program in clinical mental health.  She completed her bachelor's degrees at ASU in Psychology (BA), Justice Studies (BS), and Dance (minor).
