Amanda Johnson serves as Senior Director in the Office of the President at Arizona State University.
In this role, Johnson manages internal office operations and works closely with the university president and executive leadership to cultivate initiative and business development opportunities and advance key projects.
Prior to joining the Office of the President, Johnson was the Associate Director in ASU’s Knowledge Enterprise in support of the Executive Vice President and Chief Research and Innovation Officer. During her tenure in this role, she successfully established internal office support and operations in order to advance the strategic portfolios of research, innovation, strategic partnerships, entrepreneurship and economic development for the university.
Johnson earned a BA in Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis in Business Management from the College of Public Programs and minored in Communication at ASU. She is an active member of the National Association of Professionals Supporting Higher Education Leaders (NAPAHE) and serves as a mentor at ASU’s Commission for the Status of Women.
