Long Bio
Charlene has been a part of the Sun Devil Family since 2005, when she began advising for the College of Science and Technology. She joined the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning in January 2023, as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Academic Services. In this role, she supports the undergraduate advising team, assists students with course and program needs, supports over 30 instructional faculty, maintains the various curriculum plans for the School, and organizes a schedule of over 400 class sections. Before coming to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Charlene served as the Curriculum Support Manager for the School of Sustainability in the College of Global Futures, and as Academic Success Operations Manager in the School of Social Work and Academic Programs Manager in the School of Public Affairs, both within the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions.
Charlene holds a B.A. and M.Ed. in Elementary Education, both from Arizona State University. On the weekends, Charlene enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling, and especially taking their side by side out for scenic rides through the desert.
