Biography: 

Michelle Glerum is a Teaching Associate and Ph.D. candidate in English Education at Arizona State University. Michelle spent seven wonderful years teaching secondary English in Scottsdale, Arizona, while also teaching composition courses at Scottsdale Community College, before choosing to pursue her doctorate full time. She is a fellow of the National Writing Project and summer instructor for the Central Arizona Writing Project. Michelle has presented at numerous local, national, and international conferences to disseminate her research, which focuses on language and literacy practices in secondary and post-secondary education as well as beginning teacher transitions. Her work has been published in English JournalCalifornia English, and Growing Scholars Chronicle
