David Pheanis

David Pheanis was one of the founding faculty members of the department of Computer Science and Engineering. He taught the microprocessor courses until his retirement from active teaching in 2004. He is the founder and Principal of Western Microsystems, and he does research and development in embedded systems, real-time data acquisition, and VoIP.
