David Pheanis

Biography: 

David Pheanis is an Emeritus Professor and was one of the founding faculty members of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (now the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering). He taught the microprocessor courses until his retirement from active teaching in 2004. He is the founder and principal of Western Microsystems, and he does research and development in embedded systems, real-time data acquisition and VoIP.
