As Director, Student Outreach and Engagement, with the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute, Dr. Lauren Dunning directs student entrepreneurship outreach and engagement activities at all Arizona State University campuses and innovation centers. Lauren actively works to enrich the entrepreneurial ecosystem at ASU by providing multiple involvement pathways and collaborating with key university partners.
Lauren has worked as a practitioner within higher education for over a decade, supporting student development and experiential learning in multiple roles at Arizona State University. Lauren’s research interests include peer mentorship, entrepreneurial identity, and entrepreneurial self-efficacy. She has a bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management, a master's degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership in Innovation, all from Arizona State University. To Lauren, entrepreneurship means possibility.
