Penelope Adams Moon is Associate Clinical Professor of History at Arizona State University. She serves as Director of Online Programs for the School of Historical, Philosophical, and Religious Studies in which capacity she oversees issues related to online curriculum planning, course development, and teaching. Her research and teaching areas include modern United States history, American peace history, American women's history, American Catholic history, and Historical Methods. Her essay, "'We aren't playing that passive role any longer': American Women's Protest of the Vietnam War," was published in Restaging War in the Western World: Noncombatant Experiences 1890-Today (Palgrave MacMillan, 2009). She has also published articles in the Journal of Social History, Peace & Change: A Journal of Peace Research, and Opposition to War: An Encyclopedia of Peace and Antiwar Movements.
