Dr. Jen O’Brien is the Assistant Dean of Students at Arizona State University’s (ASU) Tempe campus and Director of both Changemaker and the Associated Students of ASU (ASASU), which includes the university’s five student governments. She also serves as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for students and supports university-wide affinity initiatives. Dr. O’Brien began her ASU journey in University Housing and has held various leadership roles across campuses, including Director of Student Engagement and Student Connection and Community. She is passionate about student involvement and previously served as the NACURH National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) Advisor. A three-time Sun Devil, Dr. O’Brien holds degrees in Gender Studies and Communication, Nonprofit Management, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Innovation. She currently teaches in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions.
