Biography

Helen Burtis is a Faculty Associate for the Indian Legal Program. In addition to teaching the "Advanced Legal Writing in Indian Law" and "Indian WIlls" courses for j.d. students, Helen also teaches "American Indian Law" for the College of Law's Master of Legal Studies online program. She also supervises student attorneys in the Indian Legal Clinic on selected cases and administers the Clinic's bi-annual Tribal Court Trial Skills College.
