Darryl Morrell is currently an associate professor of engineering, teaching in the Engineering Programs, The Polytechnic School, Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. He has been actively involved in the development of open educational resources; these resources include an introductory textbook on engineering at the high school level for the CK-12 Foundation as well as a series of modules on MATLAB Programming with the Connexions project. He has created more than 350 YouTube videos on engineering fundamentals including circuit analysis, signals and systems, statics, and statistics; these videos currently generate between 100,000 and 200,000 views per month. His technical research interests include stochastic decision theory applied to sensor scheduling and information fusion. He is a member of the American Society for Engineering Education and a senior member of the IEEE.
