Current Work Assignment: Consulting with ASU on the transition and migration of PeopleSoft systems to AWS. Target completion October 2019.
Katie retired from ASU in 2018 after 31 years of service. At the time of her retirement Katie was serving as a Program Director in the PPMO. She managed several programs and is playing a key role in the PPMO by mentoring project managers and coordinators.
Katie directed a new program to invigorate the Student Administration Systems so that ASU can meet the growth projections of our student body. Student Administration functions support an growing and diverse student body served by multiple locations.
As the student body grows the demands also are felt on ASU's Learning Management System. Katie is assisting Academic Technologies in creating the RFP and determining future needs that resulted in the selection of Canvas.
She is the former Program Director for PeopleSoft she directs projects to sustain ASU's ERP systems. In this role, Katie continues to participate in sustaining efforts to ensure the health of our ERP investment. In 2016-17, ASU upgraded Campus Solutions to version 9.2. Previously she led the effort to upgrade the HR System to version 9.2. She has over 10 years experience with ASU's PeopleSoft environment and has been involved with PeopleSoft since its adoption in 2006-07.
Since 2014 Katie has directed the program to transition technology for the Thunderbird School of Global Management as it becomes part of ASU. This program includes new solutions as well as technology transition and integration.
Katie contributes to development of other ASU staff by mentoring Project Managers and Coordinators in their work assignments, by participating in the ASU PM Network and by serving as a mentor in the UTO Emerging Leaders program.
