Anali Maughan Perry is the Scholarly Communication Librarian at ASU Library. In this role, she provides leadership in providing outreach and education to the ASU community regarding scholarly publishing and copyright, with particular emphasis on fair use, open access to scholarly information, and open education. She also assists with scholarly identity management, including scholarly impact metrics.

Anali has 23 years experience in libraries, and has worked full-time at the ASU Library since 2000. Her previous positions include working in Interlibrary Loan as a Library Specialist and as an acquisitions librarian. She is currently a presenter for the Association for College and Research Libraries Scholarly Communication Roadshow and serves on the steering committee for the Coalition of Open Access Policy Institutions. Anali also moonlighted as the host of The Library Minute video series from 2009-2013.

Anali enjoys reading, playing guitar, all types of games, and has a slight obsession with productivity systems. She lives with her husband, 2 sons, and 2 cats.
