Karen Stevenson received her BS in Nursing from the University of Washington in 1993 and her MSN with an emphasis in Nursing Education in 2024. She spent her early career in Critical Care environments, such as Cardiovascular Surgical ICU, Cardio diagnostics, and Post-Anesthesia Care. She spent 8 years in School Health at a large local high school before coming to ASU in 2020. Karen is passionate about patient education focused on health promotion and disease management. Karen is also a Certified Occupational Health Nurse, Specialist, and Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist and is excited to bring this service to the ASU community. In her spare time Karen enjoys reading and travel.
