Yueru Ni is a Lecturer for the Chinese Language Flagship Program. She holds an M.A. in Asian Civilizations from the University of Iowa with a specialization in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. She also has an M.A. in Linguistics from Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Prior to ASU, she taught Chinese language at the college level in China, Laos, the Netherlands, and the United States. Her research interests include second language acquisition, Chinese pedagogy, and language learning motivation. At ASU, she teaches CHI301, CHI302, and coordinates the Chinese Flagship tutorial program.
