José Kaire is an Assistant Professor in the School of Politics and Global Studies. His research focuses on human rights promotion and state repression. He also has an interest in political methodology and game theory. His research has been published in International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Conflict Resolution, and Latin American Politics and Society. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at the University of Minnesota.
