This will be my 16th year as a college and high school instructor. At the college level I have taught the CompTia Cybersecurity courses: IT Fundamentals+, A+, Network+, Linux+, and Security+. Here at ASU I have taught IFT 166 and IFT 266. While at the high school level I teach Mass Media along with dual credit IT courses. I’ve also been a high school coach for 29 years.

Outside of the classroom I was a member of the NSA Cybersecurity Curriculum task force, GenCyber Kids Camp coordinator, I am the Operations Manager for the Connie Mack Baseball World Series, and the creator and coordinator of the award winning FHS Live, a student streaming broadcast program.

I have been married for 25 years, have 3 daughters, and two dogs. I enjoy Jeeping, riding my mountain bike, eating my daughters experimental cooking, and being with family.

I believe that in education whether we are on the front lines in the classroom, administration, or at the management level, our purpose is to create opportunities for personal student and management growth at some level.

Feel free to reach me out for any course related questions and contact me anytime.

Good luck with your studies.
