Dr. Kristin Elwood earned her doctoral degree in the Learning, Literacies, and Technologies PhD program in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. Dr. Elwood specializes in educational technology, instructional design, and learning design. She has an MEd in Educational Technology with a BA in English. Currently, she is the Director of Digital Initiatives and Instructional Design for the School of International Letters and Cultures (SILC) at ASU. In this position she provides support for faculty and instructors in the development of online second language acquisition courses, cultural content courses, and professional development opportunities. She also collaborates with various units to research and implement digital solutions for online learning.
