Rizwana Biviji completed her PhD in Health Policy and Management from Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health, Indianapolis and M.S. in Nutrition Science from Indiana University Bloomington. She has over seven years of experience in higher education and academia. Her primary research interests are maternal/child health and health informatics. Her research focuses on the “use of innovative technologies to overcome healthcare access barriers among the prenatal and postpartum populations”. In addition, she is involved in research projects within the areas of health disparities, policy/program evaluation, and global health.
She teaches Biostatistics, Health Communication, Health Disparities and Global Healthcare Systems using both online and in-person modalities.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, music, yoga, and taking long walks with her husband.
