Samira Ghayekhloo

Samira Ghayekhloo is a lecturer in the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. Samira received her PhD in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus in 2016. She has over 9 years’ experience of teaching Computer Science and IT courses such as Knowledge representation, Data Mining,  Object Oriented Programming, and Machine Learning.

Prior to joining ASU, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Azad University, Iran for three years. Samira has also been involved in research projects and published several journals and conference papers. She mentored multiple graduate and undergraduate students and had an advisory role in their final projects.
