Jodie Donner

Jodie Donner developed a passion for teaching with technology while earning her master's of education in educational technology at Arizona State University. She is now a member of the Learning Experience Team in the University Technology Office in the position of Collaborative Learning Specialist.

After teaching high school langauge arts for nine years, she served her school district as a media center director. Her next opportunity was functioning as a technology integration specialist in the high school setting, creating professional development sessions and training materials for teachers. She now focuses on planning and supporting active and engaged instructional learning experiences through and with digital technologies and flexible learning spaces. She co-designed EDT 180, a technology literacy course focused on the changing technological landscape in which learners are immersed and teaches the course in an adjuct role. She recently earned her doctoral degree after completing the Leadership and Innovation EdD program in Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Her research focus was facilitating an online community of practice for part-time faculty members instructing in teacher preparation programs at the college.
