Levi Helm is a PhD student in the Biology and Society program working with Professor Ann Kinzig. He is broadly interested between the interactions between ecosystems and social systems. His dissertation research investigates how well-intentioned environmental interventions can lead to negative outcomes.
Before coming to ASU, Helm received a B.S. from the University of Virginia, where he studied Enviromental Science and Anthropology. Here he conducted research on remote sensing and plant physiology in relation to ecosystem functioning.
