Biography

Michael Bodhi Green is a principal lecturer in film and media studies, where he has been teaching since 2008. He is also the director of Online Programs for the English Department. He has been published in a number of journals including Oxford Bibliographies, The Journal of Film and Video, Senses of Cinema, Salon, Pop Matters, The Conversation, and others. He is the co-editor of "Race in American Film: Voices in Visions that Shaped a Nation," from ABC-CLIO/Greenwood Press. Green teaches both screenwriting and film studies and his courses include Los Angeles Movies and Culture; Sci Fi Cinema: Technology, Genre & Culture; Race and Gender in American Film; and Star Wars Universe.
