Ben is a Program Coordinator in the University Design Institute, at Arizona State University, with over two years of program coordination experience within the Office of the President. In this role, he works on various projects, initiatives, and programs that support transformational design within global higher education and leadership development. Ben’s portfolio with UDI involves coordinating the Leadership Academy (peerLA), Leadership Network, and Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI). His global work with UDI is currently focused on USAID Ethiopia’s Integrated Youth Activity (IYA), which is led by Amref Health Africa and its “Kefeta” consortium. Ben holds a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Administration and Policy, with certificates in Sales and Marketing Essentials, and Cross-Sector Leadership.
In addition, Ben is heavily involved in a non-profit organization, Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY), particularly with the Arizona organization (HOBY Arizona). He currently serves as the Director of Operations and Housing for the 2022 Leadership Seminar, where HOBY Arizona hosts 150+ rising high school juniors from across Arizona and 50+ volunteers from across the world. In addition, he serves as the Alumni Advisor for HOBY Arizona and is a general member of the Corporate Board.
