Biography: 

Danielle Lucero is from the Pueblo of Isleta and is a doctoral student in Justice and Social Inquiry at Arizona State University. She graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Anthropology and Ethnic Studies and received her MA in Education from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. Her current research focuses on indigenous citizenship and exploring indigenous mixed race and intertribal peoples, with a focus on the relationships with and between place, belongingness, and community.

Research Interests: 

indigenous citizenship, indigeneity, indigenous identity, belonging, indigneous mixed race and intertribal peoples, human geography, cultural geography, indigenous futurity
