Alexis completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2015 at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. Since her early years in undergrad, Alexis knew that she wanted to pursue a career in a field where I could help people and give back to underrepresented communities. Alexis’s training as a clinician has so far focused on transition-aged youth in the high school and community college setting. Her research interests focus on ethnic/racial identity development and minority mental health, with emphasis on African Americans.
