Leah brings a wealth of experience to ASU. Most recently she worked at University of Phoenix where she has been for 7 years as an Academic Counselor and, most recently, Reentry Representative Senior. Prior to working at University of Phoenix, Leah spent 9 years at ASU as Director of Student Life for the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Before entering the workforce in higher education, Leah spent 12 years in radio broadcasting, so she put her undergraduate degree in broadcasting to good use! She has taught ASU 101 classes and also did presentations at orientations to students and parents, so public speaking is second nature to her! Leah is a dog-lover and currently is “mom” to Gracie and Elvis who are Welsh Corgis. She published her first novel, "Bay Window" in late 2016 on Amazon Kindle.
