Michele empowers students to focus on their overall well-being and curates events to promote a culture of wellness in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. She helps students define their wellness goals to live healthy, fulfilling lives and become effective, compassionate, balanced teachers. Using a student-centered, holistic approach through wellness coaching, students learn to identify their strengths, build resilience, and discover their meaning of success.
Michele believes educators have a tremendous community impact, so wellness for future educators is twofold. When teachers learn to practice wellness in their lives, they can model and teach wellness in their classrooms. Michele strives to make teaching, learning, self-discovery, and the workplace a fun, rewarding experience for all!
