Biography

Mariana Ruiz-González was born in Mexico City in 1983. She was raised in Extremadura, Spain until she was nine years old, afterwards she returned to her country. 

She is a PhD student in Spanish, Latin American Literature, and a Digital Humanities Certificate (2016-2021). She graduated from her bachellor degree in Communications 2001-2005 in La Salle Univeristy, campus Cuernavaca, Morelos and with another bachellor degree in Iberoamerican Literature (2010-2014) in El Claustro de Sor Juana University in Mexico City. She also studied creative writing courses in Creative Essay with Valeria Liuselli (2012),  and a utobiography with Rossa Nissan (2010), and Poetry and Narrative with Javier Sicilia (2005).

Education

Bachellor degree in Communications 2001-2005 in La Salle Univeristy, campus Cuernavaca, Morelos.

Bachellor degree in Iberoamerican Literature (2010-2014) in El Claustro de Sor Juana University in Mexico City.

Creative Writing courses in Creative Essay with Valeria Liuselli (2012), 

Autobiography with Rossa Nissan (2010), and Poetry and Narrative with Javier Sicilia (2005).
