Shayla Fordyce is a graduate student at Arizona State University's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. After completing her Associate of Arts degree from Muscatine Commnity College in 2013, she went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Iowa in 2015. She is now in the process of completing her Master of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Her research interests include procedural justice, sentencing outcomes, specialized courts, prosecutorial decision-making, and juvenile justice.
