Cindy enjoys greeting and assisting students; working with ASU Poly's students, advisors, faculty, and staff. Cindy claims to be a 'recovering federal bureaucrat' after nearly 20 years working in Washington, DC for NASA,and the Goddard Space Flight Center. She relished her professional career as a program and policy analyst, spokeperson, executive officer for NASA's Chief Scientist, television director, project manager, and senior communications strategist. Beyond the Beltway, she's explored a variety of paid and volunteer opportunities serving numerous non-profits with fundraising and program development. She actively supports Arizona public education teachers and initiatives. Cindy made her way to the Grand Canyon State in 2012 at the end of a 'family gap year,' travelling in an RV across 20 states during a 13-month, 20,000 mile odyssey with her husband and son. She makes her home in Gilbert, AZ.
