Angela Smith

Angela M. Smith served as a special education teacher at both the elementary and high school levels, acted as a school administrator and has taught both graduate and undergraduate level educational courses. She currently serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Professor Smith's areas of research consist of special education and educational diversity. She is an educator in teacher preparation and worked with colleagues revising the course syllabi for the MAC program to create a more aligned and rigorous curriculum. Smith and her team also focus on establishing a MAC/InMAC orientation to better support students transition into a master's level program.
