Rachael Don

Rachael Don is a lecturer at Arizona State University in the College of Health Solutions, where she teaches the Science of Healthcare Delivery. Additionally, she is the Degree Director for the Health Sciences program as well as the program's Faculty  Honors Advisor for Barrett Honors College students. 

Her background in healthcare administration includes public behavioral health and nutrition services. With the Regional Behavioral Health Authority of Maricopa County, she helped manage the administrative operations for valley-wide behavioral health clinics. In addition to a Master of Health Services Administration, Don earned an MBA with a concentration in services marketing from Arizona State University. Majoring in Economics, Don earned a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College, Columbia University.

Don is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and has taught nutrition science for the Maricopa County Community Colleges, where she discovered her passion for teaching. Engaging with students is extremely rewarding, and she looks forward to inspiring her classes in the important field of healthcare delivery. She has experience providing medical nutrition therapy and general nutrition counseling to private clients.  Her experience gives her firsthand knowledge of management and direct patient care and she hopes to bring this perspective to her classroom. 

Don was raised in the Philadelphia area and has lived in Phoenix since 1999. She enjoys exercise, the outdoors, travel, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in the Phoenix area with her husband and four sons, and two dogs.
