Kate Shively is an instructor for the Writers' Studio in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. Her research interests include developmental psychology and the relationship between cognitive science and education. She hosts online Writing to Action workshops for students interested in making an impact in their local communities.
Kate is passionate about her work with at-risk youth to improve confidence in writing and communication. She also co-hosts a weekly podcast, Health: It's Personal, featuring personal stories and expert guests about all matters of health. Her goal is to erase stigma and start tough conversations for the betterment of all.
