Susan serves as a sr. program manager at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, ASU. She previously held the position of assistant director of administration for the Center for Gender Equity in Science and Technology, ASU. She achieved her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Sociology from ASU in 2003. In 2018, she graduated with a Master of Legal Studies from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU. Susan is a proponent of lifelong learning as it enhances social inclusion, active citizenship and individual development. Currently, she serves her community as a member of the City of Scottsdale Judicial Appointments Advisory Board. She also served on the City of Scottsdale Human Relations Commission that advocates and promotes all dimensions of diversity and works toward cultural awareness and unity. Prior to her volunteerism in Scottsdale, she was a member of the City of Phoenix Office of Diversity, Brown Bag Lunch Series Board, whose mission it was to promote the value of cultural diversity for positive exchange among diverse groups. She also served as a Grants Review Panelist with the City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture as grants were awarded to non-profit cultural organizations for education and community-based activities.
