Daniel Hoyle has worked in international recruiting and admissions, international partnerships and in academic services. He helped to develop academic support programs for international students at the Graduate School at Valparaiso University as their director of Academic Services prior to joining the International Students and Scholars Center at ASU as an associate director. Hoyle has a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in Chinese studies. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in education in educational leadership.
Hoyle is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He has traveled extensively in China, and has visited countries in Europe and Africa as well. When not busy working, he volunteers as a leader for the Boy Scouts of America, likes to go hiking, spend time with family and friends, read and sample foods from different cultures.
