Daniel Hoyle has worked in international recruiting and admissions, international partnerships, academic services, and student experience. He currently serves as the Senior Director of International Student and Scholar Experience at ASU. In this position, he interacts with a dynamic team of colleagues who help students and scholars through programming and outreach efforts (including budgeting for these efforts), college and school relations, local community relations, advocacy work, demographic specific initiatives and outreach, retention efforts, and much more.
Daniel is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He has traveled extensively in China, and has visited countries in Europe and Africa as well. When not busy working, he volunteers with his church youth organization, likes to go hiking, enjoys swimming, spending time with family and friends, reading and sampling foods from different cultures.
