Jaewon Jang

Biography

Dr. Jang received his MS and PhD in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2011. He joined the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University in 2014. Prior to coming to ASU, he spent three years at Wayne State University as an assistant professor. Dr. Jang has three years of experience at highway and tunnel construction site.

Research Interests

Multiphase fluid flow through porous media and geomechanics for the application to gas hydrate production, shale gas recovery, geological carbon dioxide sequestration, and geothermal recovery.
