Research Interests

Research:  The efficacy of educational recreation in bridging the gap for the public education system:  Using Adventure Camp and Experiential Education to teach common core in an inclusive atmosphere.

Develop a school campus that mimics an adventure camp with canoeing/kayaking, swimming, low ropes courses, medicinal and edible agriculture, animal husbandry, hiking, tracking, cooking, financial literacy, construction/woodworking, overnight experience. Cooperating with animal rescues, therapeutic recreation, use online curriculum to teach computer skills as well as common core standards. Multiple grade levels can then be taught and all work at their own level.
