Ira Bennett coordinates faculty engagement for Arizona State University's (ASU) Knowledge Enterprise (KE) Research Engagement Office (REO). Headquartered strategically in the nation’s capital, REO plays a pivotal role in advancing ASU’s research priorities, growing federal support, increasing capture activities, and supporting ASU’s role as a thought leader. Bennett supports the Vice President of KE Initiatives in their connections with federal agencies, policy leaders and institutions, and East Coast academic and industry partners.
Bennett manages opportunity capture and works in concert with capture management when needed. He works with faculty helping them engage with policy makers to advance ASU’s research priorities and impact goals.
Previously Ira held research leadership positions in ASU’s Global Futures Laboratory and School for the Future of Innovation in Society, where he maintains a faculty position.
