Therese Aguayo began her professional advising career at Arizona State University in 1999, working for the College of Education as an academic advisor. During her 6 years with the College of Education, she worked primarily with students seeking admission into the teacher preparation program. In 2005, her position in the College of Education led to an opportunity working with exploratory students in University College. In 2006, Therese moved to an administrator role and began supervising academic advising for Tempe Exploratory students and in 2011 added additional responsibilities supervising advising for the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) degree program also on the Tempe campus.
