Malcolm serves as Associate Director for Corporate Engagement with the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. In that capacity he leads industry collaboration activities for advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defense-related technologies. Accomplishments include launch of the ASU Manufacturing Research and Innovation Hub, expansion of R&D programs in Additive Manufacturing and Robotics & Automation, and growth of industry engagement activities with students and faculty.
Prior to ASU Malcolm was employed 15 years at Deere & Company and 8 years at Honeywell Aerospace, serving most recently as Director of Engineering. In addition Malcolm currently serves as Executive Director for Arizona Manufacturing Partnership, a statewide consortium of industry, education, workforce and economic development organizations whose objective is to attract and develop Arizona's next-generation workforce. He also serves on the City of Phoenix Business and Workforce Development Board of Directors.
