Biography

Raymond Van der Riet joined the faculty at ASU Colleges at Lake Havasu City as a principal lecturer in organizational leadership and now serves as its director. He has been instrumental in developing the organizational leadership degree at ASU.

With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Van der Riet was previously a faculty member for international business at Franklin Pierce University, as well as dean of graduate and professional studies, and vice president for strategic initiatives. He holds a juris doctorate from Franklin Pierce Law Center, University of New Hampshire, and a master’s degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Van der Riet recently chaired the Accreditation Self Study Executive and Steering Committees at Franklin Pierce University. He has also been active as a higher education consultant in Ukraine, Greece, and Italy. Additionally, he has presented papers on Blending the Online and Traditional Models of Teaching and Assessment Systems in Graduate Education.
