Timothy Takahashi is a professor of practice for aerospace engineering in the School for the Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy at Arizona State University. He teaches classes in aircraft performance, aerodynamics, aerospace structures and materials and engineering profession. During the school year, he coordinates senior undergraduate capstone projects in fixed wing aircraft design. Over the summer, he directs the "Aeromechanics Summer in England" study-abroad program.
Prior to joining ASU he worked at NASA/Ames, Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon and Northrop-Grumman. He is an associate fellow of the AIAA, advisor for the AIAA @ ASU student chapter, a member of the AIAA Aircraft Design Technical Committee and along with his many graduate students is a prolific author of AIAA conference papers.
