Biography

I am an MS candidate in Biology & Society and an HIV/AIDS researcher. My main interests are in health and education technology and their applications in emerging markets. I promote stigma-free, inclusive health education and have international community development experience in Asia and Africa. I am an entrepreneur, a technologist, a humanitarian, and an adventure-seeker.

I currently live in Arusha, Tanzania and serve as the Country Director for HEAL International, a non-profit organization that provides health and empowerment education and health-related services to resource limited communities.

Education

I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and my Bachelors of Arts degree in Global Health from Arizona State University in 2015.

In 2017 I began a Masters program at ASU in Biology & Society. I was also accepted as a USAID Research and Innovation Fellow, and I am currently working with the Government of Tanzania and HEAL International to complete research in the effects of HIV stigma on access to care in Northern Tanzania.
