Sara Lee received her first M.A. in pedagogy and teaching from the University of Dortmund, Germany, and her second M.A. from Michigan State University in German Studies. She is a certified K-12 and dyslexia therapist who does research and workshops on how to best support dyslexic learners in the second language learning process. Her passion for communicative and engaged teaching is apparent from a first year class to an upper level content class. She has taught classes from Kindergarten to College and even for seniors. In addition to teaching methodology and disabilities/dyslexia research, she is also working in the field of language development in bilingual children, the brain development of bilingual children, as well as linguistic aspects that are specific for children who grow up bilingually.
