Biography: 

Lillian "Marie" Wallace is an applied anthropologist whose work includes social service delivery, program evaluation, aging, and the intersections of technology and aging, sex and sexualities, technology and social change, and the use of technology in adjunctive/complimentary support for trauma related issues. Her most work addresses issues of cultural appropriation and historical trauma at the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences 2018 Congress in Florianopolis, Brazil and the IUAES Intercongress in Poznan, Poland. Wallace is involved in the Marginalization and Global Apartheid Commission and the Commission on Women in the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences and currently serves as the Secretary for the Commission on Marginalization and Global Apartheid. 

As an active teaching faculty member in the Leadership and Integrative Studies program, Wallace has chaired the Faculty Annual Review and hiring committees, developed courses drawing from her background in evaluation, her research interests in technology and social change and the impact on work, and her interests in the anthropological understanding of sex and sexualities.
