Biography:

Tim Myers is a Visiting Clinical Fellow at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law where he teaches the Civil Litigation Clinic.

Tim has spent his career practicing in a wide-variety of public interest fields. He started his career as a city prosecutor for the City of Chicago. He then worked as a Staff Attorney for Community Activism Law Alliance, where he coordinated the Sex Workers Outreach Project Legal Clinic, a clinic providing free legal services for sex workers, and partnered with Organized Communities against Deportation to provide legal representation for immigrants in deportation proceedings. He then worked as the Legal Director at Chicago Law and Education Foundation, managing eight legal clinics in Chicago Public Schools on the south and west sides of Chicago that provided free legal services to low-income students and their families. His last job before coming to the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law was at National Immigrant Justice Center, where he helped immigrants apply for legal status and represented immigrants in court facing deportation.

Tim is excited to serve in his current role as a visiting fellow in the Civil Litigation Clinic, where he teaches a seminar course on civil litigation and supervises student attorneys as they represent low-income individuals with consumer, labor, and housing cases.
