Biography: 

Kerri Robinson is Senior Director and Chief of Staff at the Biodesign Institute at ASU.  She is a proven business leader and strategist who leads mission-critical programs at the Institute as it responds to global challenges in health, sustainability and security.

Robinson leads the planning and coordination of institutional fundraising and business development, in partnership with the ASU Foundation.  Together with the executive team, she directs high-level scientific recruitment, engages faculty to develop and lead signature Institute-wide programs, manages the executive internal advisory and philanthropic advisory boards, and directs various projects to accelerate ongoing research. Robinson oversees the Banner-ASU Neuroscience Scholars program which provides opportunities to college students pursuing a career in science, medicine or biomedical research.  She has over 25 years of experience successfully translating visionary ideas into strategic, actionable plans.

Robinson was a founding member of the Center for Sustainable Health (now known as the Pathfinder Center) at ASU’s Biodesign Institute and served as Associate Director and Special Advisor to Nobel Laureate, Dr. Lee Hartwell. 

Before joining ASU in 2009, she was Vice President of an educational enrichment and outreach program where she was responsible for community events, developing curriculum, recruiting volunteers, and providing leadership training. 

Kerri earned a BS in Business Management.  She also holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Innovation from ASU and a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from NAU.
